The Friends of the Hewitt Public Library are sponsoring an MP3 giveaway at the library.  All library patrons are invited to stop by and enter.  The drawing will be held at the first Friends membership meeting on Oct. 8th at 7 p.m.  You don’t have to be present to win but if you are interested in learning more about this new non-profit formed to support the library the meeting is a great way to do that.  Refreshments will be served after the meeting and sign-ups for memberships will available.

The Friends group thought a great way to highlight the library’s digital downloadable audio book service would be to give away an MP3 – we couldn’t agree more!  Audio books can be downloaded to your computer at home and listened to there or transfered to a portable listening device.  It is so easy and fun!  Stop by the library to get information on how to set up your account.
